In a fit of what is probably stress-induced mania, I have decided I want to carve myself a wooden spoon. I have a knife for leatherworking that I think I can use (though I probably need another one for scooping). I ordered some basswood, so my first try won’t be a complete failure, though I would love to end up foraging for good whittlin' sticks around here. More learning to be done on that front.
